is important for the aesthetician/massage therapist to be aware of any
existing health problems or medications so that they may personalize
your spa experience without conflict.

Should
I avoid having spa treatments if I am pregnant?
|

No, a spa
experience may just be what you need. We do
recommend that you avoid treatments using deep
pressure,
certain aromatherapy oil, and treatments involving
heat.

When
should I arrive for my appointment?
|
|
Thirty
minutes prior to your appointment. This extra time allows you to change
and fully experience your spa treatment.

What
is the procedure if I must cancel an appointment?
|
|
A 48 hour
notice must be given to cancel spa appointments. Spa services are
provided by sought after professional aestheticians and massage
therapists. This notice will allow us to fill the reserves time. A
guaranteed spa appointment requires a 50% deposit.

What
should be my expectations for my spa visit?
|
|
From the
moment you walk in, your stress level will subside. Visualize a fluffy
robe, slippers, soothing music, soft lighting and a superior staff. The
ultimate in pampering and quality services. A Renaissance Salon and Spa
experience. To preserve the spa's tranquility and to maintain peace and
quiet at all times, we respectfully request that you leave all cell
phones and pagers off.

Is
there a changing area and a place for my personal items?
|
|
Renaissance Salon
and Spa features private locker facilities for men and women. However,
we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. We recommend that you
not wear jewelry.

Is
nudity an issue?
|
|
No. during
massage therapy, only the area of the body being massaged is exposed.
The rest of the body is draped. Your sense of comfort is very important
to us. Robes, gowns, and slippers are provided. When receiving a body
treatment, you may bring an old bathing suit.

Can
hair removal services be combined with the spa treatment?
|
|
Yes, but
please inform the receptionist so that she may schedule the time and
the sequence of the services.
|
|
What
about tipping?
|
|
Gratuities
are not included in the treatment price unless specified. Gratuities
range from 15% to 20% of the service price and are fully discretionary.

Why
is it important that I not change spa services when I arrive for my
scheduled appointment?

Your day has
been carefully planned. The various technicians’ time has been
reserved especially for you.

May
I receive additional services while I am in the
spa or salon?

Yes. We have
a large staff waiting to accommodate you, but please let us know as
soon as you decide, so we can
check availability.
